zui近，中國科學院遺傳與發(fā)育生物學研究所研究員儲成才（儲成才科學網博客）研究組在水稻氮高效利用領域的研究取得了新突破，該成果為培育兼具高產與早熟優(yōu)點的水稻品種提供了解決方案，相關研究2月24日在線發(fā)表在《植物細胞》雜志中，并被該刊作為該期精品論文推送。

研究人員在前期研究硝酸鹽轉運蛋白基因的基礎上，對其同源基因的功能進行了進一步探索。研究顯示，這種同源基因主要定位于液泡膜，受銨鹽誘導，參與水稻對細胞內硝酸鹽及銨鹽利用的調節(jié)。由于硝態(tài)氮和銨態(tài)氮是植物利用氮的兩種主要形式，尤其銨態(tài)氮，是水稻的主要利用方式。因此該基因的這種功能分化對水稻環(huán)境適應性具有重要意義。

北京、長沙及海南等多年多點的田間試驗表明，這種基因的過表達植株在高氮和低氮條件下均表現(xiàn)出顯著的增產效果。尤其在低氮條件下，該基因過表達株系小區(qū)產量以及氮利用效率zui高可提高至60%, 且在高氮條件下可提早開花2周以上，從而有效縮短了水稻成熟時間。該研究成果為培育兼具高產與早熟品種，克服農業(yè)生產中高肥導致的“貪青晚熟”問題提供了解決方案，具有巨大的應用潛力。

數(shù)年來，中科院遺傳發(fā)育所及其所屬三個國家重點實驗室的水稻氮高效研究團隊獲得了系統(tǒng)性的重要成果，在相關領域引起了廣泛關注。
